Contributor: Jette Lehmann production designer

Moderator: Vanda Flaisz, director-dramaturge, ATAFF program coordinator

Date: 18 October, Friday, 10 am

The Film Futures program offers an exciting platform for showcasing the short films of young, emerging filmmakers and film students. The project's aim is to explore and initiate discussions about the creative journey of short filmmaking, with a particular emphasis on production design this year.

How do Hungarian short filmmakers shape their visual worlds through production design, and what creative solutions do they use to overcome budget constraints? We will explore how visuals enhance the narrative of films and how filmmakers collaborate with production designers to make the most of the resources at their disposal.
