I’d like to thank the organisers of the ATAFF festival for doing such a great job and putting this event together. It’s been a great pleasure to be here in Szolnok. I’ve spent years going to large festivals like Berlin, Toronto and Cannes, but its in these smaller intimate festivals which aren’t part of the movie business but are nonetheless filled with film enthusiasts that one finds the true beating heart of cinema and that makes me optimistic about the future of this medium. This festival, this cinema and the people who run it gives me hope and the resolve to keep working and trying in a world of superheroes, spies and spaceships to keep the flame of European arthouse cinema alive. Many thanks to Eva and her team and congratulations to everyone who helped to make this festival such a success.
Thank you very much for having us at the film festival! We had a very good time and it was very useful for the students too! It was especially good that the film made by the students from different institutions were mixed so they could not only see their own movies on a big screen but also other universities' films as well and they started to network with each other.
Once again thank you for the award and the opportunity! The whole festival is an abiding memory for me. It encourages me to keep on working with a similar impulse and make new and new movies.
It was very good to spend time with you at the film festival. Good people, great films in competition and I enjoyed the Trauner film very much and the discussion afterwards.
Thank you for this beautiful festival. Merci
Thank you so much for this year's festival edition where we've watched great films and found good new contacts to fellow filmmakers. We felt very welcomed.
Thank you so much for the festival and your hospitality! I had a very good time! ATAFF is a very inward event and has a pleasant feeling. I have read the book about the history of the film festival, I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the organizers.
ATAFF is a real international event with a familiar atmosphere; it is a real curiosity. The discussions and masterclasses with Jean Rabasse and Peter Webber will stay with me for years. Istvan Demeter and Eva Demeter are great organizers, every day an exhibition, screenings, moderated talks, concerts, receptions or parties took place during ATAFF. I am very grateful that I could be part of it!
