Jean Rabasse

Production Designer

Jean Rabasse Jean Rabasse based in Paris, has worked in a variety of fields ranging from movie set design to dance, opera and circus stage design.

He was the scenographer for many years of P. Decouflé, co-signing with Guy Claude Francois the design of the sets of the opening ceremony of the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games.

He received a César for the best Production Design in 1996 for the film "The City of Lost Children" by Marc Caro and JP Jeunet.

He was nominated for an Oscar for the best Production Design for the film Vatel for which he also received a Cesar in 2001.

His filmography includes "Vidocq" by JF Comar, "Asterix" (named for a Cesar), directed by C.Zidi, "The Dreamers", directed by B.Bertolucci, "Delicatessen", directed by M.caro and JP Jeunet ( Cesar Award for Best Decoration), "The Statement" directed by N.Jewison, "Faubourg 36", directed by C.Barratier (nominated for a César of the best decorations), "Oceans" by Perrin and Cluzaud and more recently, "Io e te ", directed by B.Bertolucci.

He worked on a comedy of David Moreau "20 Years Younger" and on the new film by R.Polanski, "The Venus Fur"

He also designed the scenography for three Cirque du Soleil shows, "Corteo" by D.Finzi, for which he was nominated for the Emmy Awards for best show scenography, "Beatles Love" directed by D.Champagne, show based in Las Vegas for which he conceives theater and scenography, and finally "Iris" directed by P.Decoufle. in Los Angeles at Kodak Theater.

He signed his first opera scenography for "L'Amour de loin" directed by D.Finzi in 2009 for the ENO, opera taken again in Antwerp, Gent then Toronto in 2012, followed in 2011, "Aïda" for the Mariinsky of St Petersburg, opera staged by D.Finzi.

In 2012, he works on the scenography of "Verdi's Requiem" directed by Daniele Finzi.

2013 saw his first collaboration with Franco Dragonne on the creation of two theaters and shows, Dubai and Jakarta.

2014 Production Manager on the film "TL’Odeur de la Mandarine" by Gilles Legrand (Nomination for the Cesars for the best decor)

Scenography of the show of P.Decouflé, "Contact" but also "The two friends" of Louis Garrel.

2015 begins with the creation of Franco Dragone's Revue du Lido.

2015-16.Jean Rabasse works on the sets of Pablo Larrain's film "Jackie" with Nathalie Portmann in Jackie Kennedy. The film is selected at the Venize Festival and the Toronto Film Festival.

2016- Work on the project produced by Luc Besson, "Kursk", directed by Thomas Winterberg.

2016- Chef Decorator for the film of Roman Polanski, "D’apres une histoire vraie”, with E.Seigner and Eva Green.

2017- design and design of the theater La Perle in Dubai as well as the scenography of the show for Franco dragone.

2018- Production designer for Louis Garrel's "L'homme fidele" Production designer of the film “Climax” by Gaspar Noé.

2019- Production manager of the film "J'accuse" by Roman Polanski.

2019- Set Designer on Nisa. Cirque Du Soleil 2020 Berlin.

2020- Production Designer on « 02 » directed by Alenandre AJA.

2021- Notre Dame is burning by Jean Jacques Annaud.

Dávid Géczy

Director and Scriptwriter

Dávid Géczy In 2015 his film The Winner was selected for the competition program at the Odense International Film Festival, which can nominate works for the Academy Award preselection, and the Danish Film Institute selected it for the 10 best shorts of the year.

The image films for the Liszt Academy of Music won the Silver Hugo award tat he Chicago International Film Festival in 2015 and in 2017 as well as the Red Dot award in Berlin and the Silver Dolphin in Cannes.

For his web series True Musicians, he received the prize of the Los Angeles Film Awards and the London Lowie Awards.

In 2021 he won the award for the Best Short Documentary at the Hungarian Moving Pictures Festival.

Peter Webber

Director

Peter Webber Peter Webber is a British director who has extensive experience in feature films and television.

After directing documentaries for some years such as the award winning “A to Z of Wagner” started directing drama for the BBC and HBO - Six Feet Under being a notable example. His first cinema release came when he directed Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003), starring Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth, which received numerous accolades including 3 Academy Award nominations, 2 Golden Globe nominations and 10 BAFTA Award nominations. Peter Webber then went on to direct Hannibal Rising (2007) which depicts the origin story of the young Hannibal Lecter. Other directorial credits include Emperor (2012) starring Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox, the TV drama series Tutankhamun (2016) starring Max Irons and Sam Neill and Netflix original Pickpockets (2018).

His documentary work includes the award-winning environmental feature documentary Ten Billion (2015) and Earth: One Amazing Day (2017), narrated by Robert Redford and Jackie Chan, for which he won Best Film at Academia Film Olomouc and the Chinese American Film Festival. Last year has seen the release of his new film Inna de Yard, a documentary feature which follows a group of pioneering reggae musicians, capturing the continuing relevance of their music and way of life.
