More than 3000 films were submitted to the Alexandre Trauner ART/Film Festival

We have received a record number, 3105 submissions this year to the Alexandre Trauner ART/Film Festival. Between 13 and 18n October there will be around 100 films showed in the competition program.

At the film festival - focusing on production designers - this year for the third time we invite 10 European feature films in competition where the production design of the films will be awarded by an international jury.

We have received submissions from all around the world to the fine art and student film category; 38 films from Hungary and we received further submissions from 97 countries. The repertoire consists of short films, animations, documentaries and experimental films.

The pre jury has started its work, to choose the two categories’ films in competition, which will be evaluated by the main jury of ATAFF. At the film festival the best production designer, the best fine art and student film will be awarded.

There will be many partner programs attached to the screenings. The organizers are waiting for the film lover audience with conferences and discussions focusing on production designers. Following the traditions, fine art films will also have a spotlight, which will be accompanied by exhibitions and other fine art partner programs.
