On the 49th jubilee of the Kecskemét Animation Film Studio and the 80th birthday of Ferenc Mikulás the festival organizers have given a life achievement award to Ferenc Mikulás, the founder and director of the Kecskemét Animation Film Studio, "the last defender of the bastion", for all his efforts made for the Hungarian animation film.
